1. Player & Team Eligibility
Players must meet the applicable age chart and roster requirements. Rosters must be submitted and locked before the first game. Eligibility violations may result in forfeiture or disqualification.
2. Pitching
7U–12U: maximum 6 innings per day and 8 innings over three days. 13U–14U: maximum 7 innings per day. A removed pitcher may not return to pitch in the same game. The second mound visit in an inning requires a pitching change.
3. Bat Standards
14U and below: USSSA 1.15 BPF or USA Baseball-stamped bats unless the event specifies otherwise. 13U maximum drop is -8; 14U maximum drop is -5. 15U and older use BBCOR or wood.
4. Game Times & Run Rules
Pool play: 1:40 no new inning. Bracket play: 1:45. Championship: 2:00, subject to director discretion. Run rules: 15 after 3 innings, 10 after 4, and 8 after 5.
5. Equipment & Fields
Catchers must wear full protective gear, including a throat guard. No metal cleats under 13U. Standard dimensions: 9U–10U 46/65; 11U–12U 50/70; 13U 54/80; 14U+ 60/90, unless event details state otherwise.
6. Lineups & Gameplay
Teams may bat nine, use an extra hitter, or use a continuous lineup. Courtesy runners are permitted for pitcher and catcher using the last batted out. Leadoffs and stealing are permitted at 9U and above.
7. Pool Tiebreakers
Winning percentage, total wins, head-to-head when only two teams are tied, average runs allowed, run differential capped at +8, event-entry date, then coin flip.
8. Conduct & Protests
Ejected participants must leave the vicinity. Fighting may result in tournament expulsion. Protests are limited to rule interpretation, eligibility or pitching and must be declared before the next pitch. Judgment calls are not protestable.
9. Weather & Operations
The Tournament Director may shorten games or modify schedules and formats because of weather, safety or facility availability.
